A homeless man ,who was given a new life turned on those who made an attempt to help him, Aaron barley was spotted begging on the streets by a good hearted woman Tracey wilkinson, she had given him a place to stay, got him a job,she even gave him money,Aaron was welcomed by Tracey’s family, they all made an attempt to change his life around.
But little did the family know, that their actions of kindness were not appreciated at all by aaron even though he described Tracey as a “mother he never had”.
One day aaron broke into the family home and stabbed Tracey to death along with her 13 year old son,he then hid in the house and attempted to murder tracey’s husband,he managed to stab him, however mr wilkinson survived.
Aaron denied to reveal the reason of killing tracey wilkinson and her son, but the court previously heard the Wilkinsons cancelled his mobile phone contract just three days before the horrific attack, this suggest that,it could be the reason behind the attack.
The judge told Barley: ‘You abused your knowledge of the family home, which you had only gained through the Wilkinsons’ extraordinary kindness and generosity to you.
‘Mr and Mrs Wilkinson were both financially and emotionally generous to you. You betrayed their trust in every way, exploiting the knowledge of their household.’
Aaron was jailed for a minimum of 30 years, however he may never be released if he cant prove he is not a danger anymore.

“You don’t bite the hand that feeds you and you certainly don’t murder people that have taken you into their homes and hearts”.
“I’m sure there are many people out there who also want to help others in need. However things like this and the safety of our families stops us doing so. These kind people trusted this young man. They went over and beyond anything he could of have wished for. A place of his own, a job. Then when he chose drugs they tried a second time in their own home. They wanted nothing more than to help, give him a chance. There are others who want nothing more than this chance. He gives the homeless a bad name”.
